what I wear during..

..Ramadan nights

The violet leopard Mitzy mulberry clutch I fell in love with in Dubai , but preferred to get the original leopard print , it's so versatile and goes from day with jeans and a Tee to night with a LBD. I don't need to mention that leopard print is THE trend for fall/winter season, well there I did :)

I wore the Mitzy the other night with a bright pink Kaftan very close to this and accessorized it with some gold bangles and earrings..

love dressing up in Ramadan , what better way to unlock the BOHO in you..

The Road

I read The Road while on my vacation to Istanbul.
For anyone of you who have read the book you know how melancholy it is .. Well reading it while sipping sugar- free lemonada and enjoying the sounds of the crushing Marmara waves just felt like quite a contradiction to the heartbreaking plot , being in total bliss I decided got me to better absorb the raw emotions surrounding it. Ironic.

Earlier this summer I organized a book club and August book would be our second ! I think I would have never picked the book for a vacation read but being in the book club votes fell upon it for August. I'm happy that all members are taking it seriously and reading so how can I not!!!. I did enjoy it and came to count my blessings while getting some color.
My meeting with my book buddies is tomorrow, can't wait to discuss it!

Pure Art

I've always loved the flowing lines and arched strokes of Arabic script. The pure complexity of it is amazing, and sometimes they're so beautiful and freeflowing that it's a marvel that it's actually meant to be read. I often collect quotes so artistically written in , here are some favorites..

Inner strength.

Dine in Absolute Perfection

During our last trip to Istanbul my husband and I dined at these 3 restaurants that completely takes you to cloud nine.. the food, the scenery and service is just impeccable.

Reina:
Beautiful views of the Bosphorus , a range of five restaurants to choose from.
We dined at Dragon (chinese restaurant) one of the best in Istanbul.
Best time to go is before sunset so you get to experience views both day and night. I loved it at dusk truely surreal.

Çırağan Palace Kempinski Hotel :
Originally an Ottoman imperial palace, its architectural beauty and luxury just blows you away.
We enjoyed Afternoon Tea Buffet from 15:00 to 19:00 at Gazebo right on the Bosphorus.

360 istanbul:
Amazing 360 landscaping views of old Istanbul and Marmara Sea, serving Turkish dishes with a modern spin. Lunch would be a good choice to experience the panoramic views this place has to offer. Chocolate dessert is 2die4!!
